Reasons for Migration

Each MSP account in Octiga is linked to a specific M365 Tenant on which the Octiga App has been authorized (enterprise app in Entre ID)

Some MSPs may wish to move some or all tenants (clients) to another MSP account (linked to another M365 tenant).

Process for Migration

At present client tenants are deeply integrated in the Octiga system with their parent MSP account. We do not have an automated way of transitioning them at present. Thus migration by Octiga on behalf of the MSP requires a lead time (a number of weeks) involved in allocating the resources and processing the request

Therefore for small MSPs or where the number of tenants being migrated is small we would ask that the MSP considers doing this themselves using our guided process. See next step
