The Alerts Dashboard
The alerts dashboard is used to Navigate, Triage and Prioritise Alerts.  

Sorting Alerts
Various controls at the top of each column allow you to filter and sort the alerts to prioritise which alerts should be looked at first.  

These sortable columns are as follows:
  • Severity. Sortable in order of severity.  Events are classified into 
    • Critical - Should be Addressed as soon as possible.
    • Danger - Should be Addressed with a medium level of importance.
    • Warning - This may be of concern or note but often do not require triage or further investigation.
  • Tenant.  The name of the tenant.  Sortable alphabetically.
  • Created On.  The date and time that the event, which underlies the alert, was generated in Office 365.  Sortable newest or oldest first.
  • Actor - The user or system whose action triggered the recording of the event in Office 365.   Sortable alphabetically.
  • Affected User - The user or system that is affected by the event.  Sortable alphabetically.
  • Description.  A short description summarising why the underlying event has triggered an alert.   Sortable alphabetically.
