Data Retention in Octiga

Octiga is based in the European Union and thus falls under the guidelines of GDPR

Therefore Octiga only processes and stores data for the reasonable purpose of monitoring and protecting client tenants (and their users) and allowing MSPs to manage this.

Octiga stops processing data, and removes stored data after certain periods of time, after a trial or subscription ends or an MSP or a client is removed. It retains data for these periods for reasons of business continuity in the case that an MSP may wish to revert the process, restart trial/subscription, or re-onboard

Retention Periods

When a trial ends, there is a 7-day Trial Grace period where all background services will continue running (e.g alerts, baseline checks)

After these 7 days, your account will switch to retention.

This retention period lasts 90 days after a trial or subscription has ended where data is kept but services are shutdown. This allows you to pick up where you left off with ease.
